As the youngest member of a family with nine children, I learned quickly the importance of working together toward a common goal. Running a family of this size took planning, and an effort to help out whenever and however we could. This instilled a value of helping others that led me to want to become a tutor. My tutoring skills span a widespread array of courses for all ages of students. My specialization is in the Sciences, including Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics, and Physical Science. However, I'm also proficient in other subject areas, including Math, English, Essay Writing, Reading, Writing, and GRE and SAT Test Preparation.My interest in Science drew me to earn my bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University, where I also minored in Biology and Bioengineering. I'm currently continuing my education by working toward a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at MIT. I gained valuable experience as an intern and through co-ops with big companies, including ChemSolv Inc., GlaxoSmithKline, and Johnson & Johnson. I also spent time conducting and presenting research findings during an American Chemical Society National Expo event. When I'm not focused on my studies, I enjoy watching or playing sports, time playing the piano, rocking out in my band, trying new recipes, or spending time outdoors.
